This challenge is ran by Kristi over at The Story Siren. It challenges readers to read at least 12 books that are by debut authors next year. This seems like a lot of fun and some of the books are already on my TBR list or I have on my Kindle from NetGalley but haven't read yet. Here's my list but I'm sure I'll add more as time goes by.

I have been so busy with work and Grad school stuff that I have been neglecting this blog big time! I've finished quite a few books that I need to post some reviews on - one of my favorite being The Dead Tossed Waves. (Totally loved this book!)

IMM is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
So, I got a lot this week. More than I should have with trying to finish up Grad school classes and the stack I already have. Oh well though.
The Walking Dead Comics: Books 1 – 6 – M and S love the show on AMC so I grabbed the comics from the library. They look really good even though I never, ever read comics.
House of Night: Betrayed (Book 2), Untamed (Book 4), and Hunted (Book 5). by PC Cast and Kristin Cast – We didn’t have book 3 in at the library so I’ll grab it when it comes back in.
Saqqhique by Catherine Fisher – I found the UK version on thebookdepository.com and decided to order it since the US version doesn’t come out until December. Can’t wait to read it!
Torment by Lauren Kate – I just finished Fallen last week and loved it so I picked this up at the book store.
Night World Vol. 3 by L J Smith – I haven’t read the first two volumes but I found this for $4 so decided to pick it up.
Night Angel: Book of Love by Abra Ebner – I received the second book in this series through a book tour so I’m trying to read the first one.
The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa – I haven’t read the first in this series yet but heard they are great so I scooped this up on NetGalley when it came out.
Knight Angels Book of Revenge by Abra Ebner – This looks really good! I hope I get through the first one so I can read this before I have to send it to the next person on the list!
Well, that’s it for this week. What did you get?

Woohoo! I'm actually getting this post up on time this week.
Well, I'm down 16 lbs. thanks to Weight Watchers. I am so excited! I really thought going on a diet would suck but I've been able to find stuff that I like to eat on WW. I'm averaging about 2 lbs a week. Sometimes I'll stay at a weight for 2 weeks then the next week I'll be down 3 or 4 lbs. Not sure why?
I'm gonna try REALLY hard to start C25K back this week. I know I've been saying this for weeks, ya'll, but really - I am. We are going to the RE on Thursday (!!!!) so before we start all kinds of fertility related tests/treatments I would like to lose 7 more lbs.
The worst part about losing weight is that none of my pants are fitting. I put on one of my favorite pairs yesterday and had to wear a belt to keep them up. I should be excited about this but, really, I don't want to buy new clothes. I just sent a lot of my smaller sizes to the consignment shop so that really sucks. Should've waited a few more months I guess.
Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks and then Christmas so its definitely going to be a struggle. Going to have to get on the treadmill to keep losing. Or take Roxie out for a run - she will definitely love that.
How are ya'll doing w/your weight loss? How are you going to deal with the holidays coming up?
